Local Task Options

Edit, export, delete, and send local tasks to Orchestrator

Each local task card has an options menu (⋮) in the top-right corner. Use these actions to manage tasks on your machine.

Local Task Actions

ActionDescription
EditEdit the task name and description
DeletePermanently remove the local task
Export TaskSave the task to a file for backup or sharing
Send Task to OrchestratorUpload the task to your connected Bot Management Console organization
Merge TaskCombine this task with another task

Common Workflows

Open a task

  1. Single-click the task card on the dashboard
  2. Studio opens the flow editor with the task loaded

Edit task name

  1. Click the ⋮ menu on the task card
  2. Select Edit
  3. Update the Task Name or Task Description
  4. Save your changes

Export for backup

  1. Open the task options menu
  2. Select Export Task
  3. Save the file to your preferred location

Publish to Orchestrator

  1. Ensure you are logged in and Connected
  2. Open the task options menu
  3. Select Send Task to Orchestrator
  4. The task appears in your organization's task library in Orchestrator
